Better than the other guys. Less expensive, too.

Fully functional TMS for small, mid-sized, and large carriers—the same product whether you run 5 trucks or 500. Start with a 30-day field test on your operation; after that it’s month-to-month with no long-term contract.

Enterprise TMS quotes often bake in months of demos and sales cycles. We’d rather ship software you can afford.

How billing works

Three numbers. That’s the whole bill.

We don’t hide line items, we don’t add a per-seat tax, and the price you saw above is the price you’ll pay.

Per active unit $20/unit · mo

We bill on whichever count is higher—trucks or drivers—so you’re aligned with how your fleet actually runs.

Monthly minimum $100/mo

Smallest carriers still get the full product. The minimum kicks in below five active units.

Brokerage add-on $200/ month

Add outside carriers to your network, assign them loads, and keep brokerage workflows inside Bolt.

Three ways teams buy TMS software

Same job—moving freight—three familiar shapes. Here’s the tradeoff buyers feel in the room, without picking on any one vendor.

Bolt

Cloud-native · self-serve first

Run it like software, not a project

  • 30-day field test on your fleet—prove it with real dispatch, safety, and billing.
  • True multi-tenant SaaS: a tab or your phone. No VPC, private hosting, or “call IT before I can log in.”
  • Onboarding in days—not a quarter-long implementation program.
  • Pricing on the page: per active truck/driver, a clear monthly floor, optional brokerage add-on.

$20 / active truck or driver (greater of the two) · $100/mo minimum · +$200/mo brokerage add-on

Legacy enterprise

Hosted stacks & long services tail

The private-footprint world

  • Organized around your network: VPNs, private links, data centers—or installs that don’t feel like modern SaaS.
  • Professional services and phased rollouts before you’re living in it end-to-end.
  • Economics that reward scale, change orders, and long buying cycles—not small-team speed.

Implementation + services are usually the real line item; list price rarely tells the story.

Newer cloud suites

Enterprise-grade, quote-led

Serious cloud, bigger appetite

  • Real cloud—but often tuned for later-stage ops and larger monthly commits.
  • Broader products can mean more training and services before the first clean dispatch week.
  • All-in pricing is still uncommon—you’ll usually talk to sales before you know run-rate.

Often mid-to-high four figures per month before add-ons and services (varies widely).

FAQ

Common questions

  • What is the 30-day field test?

You run Bolt on your real freight and workflows for 30 days—enough time to know if it fits. After that, every plan is month-to-month unless you agree otherwise in writing. No multi-year lock-in by default.

  • What counts as “active”?

Details are confirmed during onboarding; generally it’s operational capacity you’re using in Bolt in a given billing period. Ask sales if you have an edge case.

  • When do I need the brokerage add-on?

When you want to manage third-party carriers and assign loads to them inside the platform. Asset-only fleets can skip it.
